ABOUT US

Squash is the best sport out there! Yes, of course we'd say that but it really is perfect, particularly for those who have never tried it and are looking to play something new. Squash is fast-paced, a fantastic workout and a great social sport, not to mention being voted the world's healthiest sport by Forbes!


Our club has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with weekly socials, amazing student and professional coaches along with great players that are always keen to get on court and have some fun. As a club we have around 40 team players along with many more club players and members who just love the social! We believe all this makes us the best university squash club in the whole country.

TYPICAL WEEKLY SCHEDULE

​Monday

  • Training for our 1st/2nd Men's & Women's Teams

    • Sessions last 80 minutes

    • First session at 6:20pm, last at 9:00pm

  • S&C (Strength And Conditioning Training) for Performance Squash 8:15pm-9:00pm

Tuesday

  • Local League Match Night

Wednesday

  • 4 Men's and 4 Women's Teams play BUCS matches in the afternoon

  • Weekly Social in the evening (check our Facebook for event details)

Thursday

  • Local League Match Night

Friday

  • Training for our 3rd/4th/5th Men's/Women's Teams

    • Sessions last 80 minutes

    • First session at 6:00pm, last session at 9:00pm

  • S&C for our Performance Squad 8:30pm-9:15pm

Saturday

  • 2 hour technical/fitness session for our Performance Squad

    • Taken by Mark Toseland at 3:00pm

Sunday

  • Club Sunday Sessions taken by England Squash Uni Champions/Performance Squad/Committee

    • Beginner Session at 12:00pm

    • Intermediate Session at 1:00pm

    • Intermediate Session at 2:00pm

    • Advanced Session at 3:00pm
